This Privacy Policy applies to the Remagotchi application (hereby referred to as the "Application") for mobile devices and other supported platforms. The Application was created by Ewerton José Wantroba (hereby referred to as the "Service Provider") and is provided as a Freemium service.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Application may access, how that information is used, how it is stored, and the circumstances under which it may be shared with third-party services.
Information Collection and Use
The Application may collect or process information when you download, install, configure, and use it. Depending on the features you use, this information may include:
- Your device's Internet Protocol address (IP address);
- The pages or screens of the Application that you visit;
- The time and date of your visit;
- The amount of time spent using the Application;
- The operating system and platform used on your device;
- Information that you voluntarily provide when configuring integrations or services supported by the Application.
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.
The Service Provider may use information collected through the Application to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the Application and its features.
User-Provided Information
Some features of the Application require you to provide information voluntarily. Depending on the services you choose to connect, this may include usernames, channel identifiers, account identifiers, authentication credentials, API keys, or other information necessary to establish the requested connection.
The information requested by the Application is used only for the purpose for which it was provided, such as connecting the Application to a livestream or enabling livestream chat functionality.
Where possible, credentials and configuration information are stored locally on the user's device rather than being transmitted to or stored by the Service Provider's servers.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Remagotchi Application itself does not intentionally use cookies or similar technologies to track users for advertising or behavioral profiling purposes.
When you authenticate your YouTube account, Remagotchi opens Google's authentication page in your web browser. Google and the browser may use cookies or similar technologies as part of the authentication, security, session management, and operation of Google's services. These technologies are controlled by Google and are subject to Google's own privacy policies.
Remagotchi may also use third-party services, such as Firebase services, that may collect or access information from your device through their own technologies for analytics, crash reporting, security, and service operation. These third-party services are subject to their respective privacy policies.
Google and YouTube Data
The Application can optionally connect to a user's YouTube account through Google OAuth. This connection is used exclusively to provide the Application's YouTube livestream and live-chat functionality.
When you choose to connect your YouTube account, the Application requests only the following Google API permission:
-
YouTube Data API read-only access
(
youtube.readonly) — this permission allows the Application to retrieve information from the user's YouTube account and associated live streams and live chats that are necessary for the Application's functionality.
Through this permission, the Application may access the following information:
- Your YouTube channel ID and channel name;
- The ID of an active YouTube live broadcast;
- The ID of the live chat associated with an active live broadcast;
- Messages posted in the live chat of the connected live broadcast;
- Public information associated with chat participants that is provided by the YouTube API, such as their channel or user information.
The Application uses this information only to identify the connected YouTube channel, detect an active live broadcast, obtain the associated live chat, receive live-chat messages, display or process those messages within the Application, and provide the Application's interactive livestream features.
The Application does not use the Google OAuth permission to access, modify, delete, or publish YouTube videos, manage the user's YouTube channel, change channel settings, or perform other actions that require write access to the user's YouTube account.
The Application does not sell Google user data and does not use Google user data for advertising purposes.
Google user data is not transferred to third parties except where necessary to provide the Application's functionality, operate infrastructure and service providers described in this Privacy Policy, comply with applicable law, protect the security of the Application and its users, or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
During the Google OAuth authorization process, Google provides the Application with an access token and, when offline access is authorized, a refresh token. These credentials are used only to maintain the authorized YouTube connection and obtain new access tokens when necessary.
The Application does not request or store the user's Google password.
The Application stores the YouTube authentication information necessary to maintain the user's authorized session. Access tokens are used to make authorized requests to the YouTube Data API. Refresh tokens are used to obtain new access tokens when the current access token expires.
The Application does not use YouTube user data for purposes unrelated to the YouTube features requested by the user.
You may revoke the Application's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account security settings. To do so, visit: Google Account third-party connections . Find Remagotchi in the list of connected applications and remove its access.
If you disconnect your YouTube account or request deletion of your data, the Application will remove the stored YouTube session credentials and associated account information maintained by the Application, subject to information that must be retained for legal, security, or legitimate operational purposes.
Livestream Platforms and Third-Party Integrations
Remagotchi allows users to optionally connect livestream platforms and related services. These integrations may include YouTube and TikTok, among other supported platforms.
When you configure a third-party livestream integration, the Application may process the username, channel identifier, API key, authentication credentials, livestream information, and chat messages required to provide that integration.
For TikTok livestream functionality, the Application can use the Euler Stream service to establish a connection to a TikTok livestream. The user may provide their TikTok username and an Euler Stream API key. These credentials are used to establish the requested livestream connection.
The Application does not require the user to provide their TikTok password to Remagotchi for this integration.
Third-party integrations are subject to the privacy policies and terms of the respective third-party service providers.
Third-Party Services
The Application uses third-party services to provide functionality, analytics, diagnostics, authentication, livestream integrations, and application infrastructure.
These third-party services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms. The following are examples of third-party services used by the Application:
These services may collect or process information according to their respective privacy policies. The Service Provider does not control the privacy practices of these third-party services.

Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality and security of information processed by the Application.
The Application uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information stored or processed by the Application against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and the Service Provider cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider retains user-provided information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Application's functionality, maintain the user's configured integrations, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or protect the security of the Application.
Authentication credentials and integration information stored locally by the Application remain on the user's device until the user disconnects the respective service, removes the information, clears the Application's data, or uninstalls the Application, subject to platform behavior.
For information maintained by the Service Provider or its service providers, users may request deletion by contacting: wantrobapps@outlook.com.
The Service Provider will respond to deletion requests within a reasonable period, subject to applicable legal, security, and operational requirements.
Opt-Out Rights

The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
If the Service Provider becomes aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information to the Service Provider, please contact wantrobapps@outlook.com.
